Now that Jervis is back on the list maybe the Centurion question should be brought back up so we can get an official ruling instead of the many points of view.
I.e. Are Centurions the last to die in a unit (just like leaders) or do they actually die and are replaced by a 'leader' losing the +1 leadership bonus.

As you guys will probably have realised, I don't really like the idea of 'official rulings' in principle, as it discourages players from resolving rule problems in the same manner as the games designers, by discussion and the occasional dice roll. However, for the record, the way *I'd* play it is to assume that the Centurion is the last man in the unit to die.
